How to make a faceless video

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to show my face or turn on a camera?

No. There is no camera at all — your designed character is on screen and talks in your voice, so the whole video is faceless.

Is my voice or video uploaded anywhere?

No. Your clips, your microphone and the recording are processed locally on a canvas and recorded on your device. Nothing is sent to a server.

Can I use a pre-recorded voiceover instead of talking live?

Yes. Set the voice source to Upload audio and the character lip-syncs to your uploaded voiceover, which becomes the soundtrack — handy if you would rather not speak live on mic.

Can I make reaction and commentary videos too?

Yes. Add your videos as scenes and talk over them — reaction, commentary and explainer clips are all just faceless videos made the same way.

What sizes work for YouTube, TikTok and Reels?

Tall 9:16 for TikTok, Reels and Shorts, square 1:1, and wide 16:9 for YouTube — each at 720p, 1080p or 1440p.

Why is there a watermark?
