Frequently asked questions

Is the redaction actually secure?

The Solid redaction option paints an opaque box that removes the pixels underneath — it cannot be reversed. Blur and pixelate are labelled as not secure.

Is my screenshot uploaded?

No. Everything is processed on your device and never sent to a server.

Can I copy the result straight to the clipboard?

Yes — you can download a PNG or copy the finished image to paste anywhere.
